In this article, we’ll explore the ‘Filter‘ option in Revive.so’s ‘General’ section. Here, you’ll find a variety of settings aimed at refining your republishing approach, guaranteeing that your posts reach the appropriate audience when needed.

Settings and Functions

  1. Select Post Type(s) to Republish:

    -> Choose the post types that you want to republish using the global method. Options include Posts and Pages, allowing you to customize your republishing strategy based on your content structure.
  2. Post Types Taxonomies Filter

    -> Determine how you want to handle post categories in the republishing process. Choose between including or excluding specific taxonomies. If you opt to exclude taxonomies, selected categories will be disregarded, while selecting to include will only republish posts within the specified categories.
  3. Force Include Post IDs

    -> Specify post IDs that you want to include forcibly in the republishing process. These posts will be added to the republishing eligible list but will only be republished if other conditions are met.
  4. Force Exclude Post IDs

    -> Write down post IDs that you want to exclude forcibly from the republishing process. This ensures that specific posts are not considered for republishing, even if they meet other criteria.
  5. Select Post Status(es) to Republish

    -> Choose which post statuses may be eligible for republishing. Options include Draft, Pending Review, Private, and Published, allowing you to tailor the republishing criteria based on the status of your posts.
  6. Post Types Author(s) Filter

    -> Decide how to handle posts authored by specific individuals in the republishing process. Choose between including or excluding posts authored by specific authors, giving you greater control over which content gets republished.
